About Course

EMS Courses

EMS traditional refresher courses are combined courses to allow the student more flexibility in completion of the required curriculum. All classes include a mix of online learning through various providers and one 8-hour day in the traditional classroom setting to take any tests and conduct any skills assessments that are required. All of these classes are State of Connecticut approved courses and may also be used to satisfy NREMT recertification requirements.

EMR/EMT-Transitional Refresher Course

The Advanced EMT Transitional Refresher consists of 54 hours of online training, including AHA BLS for the Healthcare Provider and one 8 hour day of classroom training for state testing and skills checks. The online component of the refresher is required to be completed before the scheduled classroom component. This refresher meets all State of Connecticut requirements. Students must be registered for this course by 10 calendar days before the classroom session in order to have adequate time to complete the online portion.
