Neurological Disorder refer to the condition that affects brain and nervous. In other words, it is caused by the dysfunction in part of the brain or nervous system. The disorders involve the brain, spinal column or nerves and the symptoms depend on the site of damage and vary accordingly. Physical, cognitive, emotional and behavioral symptoms may be present that affects the control movement, communication, vision, hearing or thinking etc.
Usually, neurological problems in children occur in the early years of development and may be diagnosed at birth. The condition can occur as birth defects or during a child’s later years. Children’s neurological disorders symptoms appear due to the following reasons:

  • Many neurological disorders in toddlers are congenital which were present at birth whereas some are developed after birth. Those with an unknown cause are termed “idiopathic.”
