About Course

It characterizes helping as the moral center of the nurse-patient relationship and discusses how patients expectations of help and caring.

The establishment of “trust” in the registered nurse (RN)-patient relationship promotes patient engagement and improves the likelihood that the patient will be an active member of the patient care team.

The term “power in nursing” describes a nurse’s ability to wield influence, mobilize resources, and empower patients. This includes the power to heal and the power to influence others. Expanding the latter is the concept of expert power, which involves using knowledge to influence others
