The American Health Bridging Program was developed for internationally educated nurses seeking to advance their professional qualifications and achieve a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree from a recognized institution in the United States.
Designed specifically for nurses who have already earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or an equivalent nursing degree from an accredited international institution, this program provides a structured pathway to advanced nursing education, leadership development, and expanded career opportunities.

Bachelor Degree → American Health Bridging Program → Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
Through comprehensive academic preparation, English language development, NCLEX-RN preparation, and graduate-level nursing education, participants gain the skills and credentials necessary to excel in advanced clinical, educational, administrative, and leadership roles.
Program Structure
The Bridging Program typically requires three to three-and-a-half years to complete, depending on the applicant’s academic background, transferable credits, and individual progress.
Phase 1: English Language Development & NCLEX-RN Preparation
The first year focuses on preparing students for academic and professional success within the U.S. healthcare and higher education systems.
This phase includes:
- Intensive English reading, writing, and communication instruction
- Medical terminology and healthcare communication training
- Academic preparation for graduate-level study
- Comprehensive NCLEX-RN review and examination preparation
- Introduction to the U.S. healthcare system and nursing practice standards
American Health’s NCLEX-RN preparation program is specifically designed to support internationally educated nurses and strengthen the critical-thinking, analytical, and test-taking skills required for licensure success.
Phase 2: Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) Degree Program
Upon successful completion of English proficiency requirements and NCLEX-RN examination requirements, students become eligible to apply to participating universities offering Master of Science in Nursing programs.
The MSN portion of the program generally requires one to one-and-a-half years of advanced study and focuses on:
