Medical and Engineering Specialties
American Health is an international medical education organization that provides study abroad opportunities for students seeking high-quality education in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand.
Eligible Participants
Our programs are designed for:
- Medical professionals, including physicians, nurses, and paramedics
- Medical specialists and technicians, such as radiology technologists, specialist nurses, laboratory technicians, and occupational therapists
- Students interested in engineering, information technology, health sciences, business administration, and other academic disciplines
Students begin with intensive English language training for approximately 6–12 months, followed by enrollment in an accredited university degree program.
Three Steps to Earning an International Degree
Step 1: English Language Training
English proficiency is essential for academic success and university admission. Most universities require a minimum IELTS score of 6.5 or a TOEFL iBT score of 80 for admission into Bachelor’s or Master’s degree programs.
All applicants will complete an English placement assessment to evaluate their listening, reading, writing, and communication skills. Applicants are expected to possess at least an intermediate level of English proficiency to maximize their chances of success.
The English as a Second Language (ESL) program includes approximately 25 hours of instruction per week and focuses on:
- Grammar and vocabulary development
- Reading and writing skills
- Listening and speaking proficiency
- Academic English preparation
- Technical and professional terminology related to the student’s chosen field
Participation in a full-time ESL program is mandatory to maintain student visa status.
Step 2: Conditional Acceptance into a Degree Program
Based on a student’s academic qualifications, professional background, and English proficiency level, American Health assists applicants in obtaining conditional admission to accredited colleges and universities.
Conditional acceptance allows students to secure placement in their chosen degree program while completing English language requirements and any necessary prerequisite courses.
American Health works closely with affiliated universities and educational institutions to guide students through the admissions process and ensure a smooth transition into higher education.
Step 3: Final Acceptance and Degree Completion
Students receive conditional acceptance into both an ESL program and a degree program before relocating to their host country.
After successfully completing the required English training and any prerequisite coursework, students receive full admission into their selected academic program.
Degree studies may take place at a university located in a different city or state from the ESL training institution.
