About Course

Pulmonary hypertension happens when the pressure in the blood vessels leading from the heart to the lungs is too high. With pulmonary hypertension, the blood vessels to the lungs develop an increased amount of muscle in the wall of the blood vessels.

Following this course, participants will be able to: Understand the diagnostic processes leading to a diagnosis of pulmonary hypertension. Initiate appropriate investigations and understand the pathogenesis of the condition. Understand the basis behind modern treatment of pulmonary hypertension.
